Empowering Women's Health
The Bahrain International Women’s Health Conference and Exhibition 2025, themed Empowering Women’s Health, was held on 24–25 April 2025 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel in Manama. Organized by BDA for Conferences and Exhibitions, the event brought together over 300 healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates from Bahrain, the GCC, and beyond. The conference was accredited by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), offering 16 Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours to attendees.
The conference featured a comprehensive scientific program, including expert-led panel discussions and interactive workshops that addressed the latest advancements in women’s health. Topics ranged from reproductive health and maternal-fetal medicine to pelvic floor disorders and gynecological oncology. The event also emphasized the importance of early detection protocols for gynecological cancers and various other aspects relevant to women’s health across different life stages.
The conference attracted a wide spectrum of participants, including physicians, medical specialists, and healthcare professionals from Bahrain and internationally, with confirmed representation from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine. Building on the success of its first edition, the 2025 conference served as a key platform for advancing women’s health on both a regional and international scale. The event was widely commended for its role in drawing attention to the critical importance of women’s health, fostering collaborative dialogue, and facilitating cross-border knowledge exchange.
